My Real Estate Teacher was created by Barbara McNicholls (formerly Layzell) who has been helping people pass the BC Real Estate Exam for over 35 years. She recognized that many people writing the exam were struggling to meet the 70% minimum grade, so she has created a curriculum that takes students through the BC Real Estate Course chapter by chapter in a series of 'easy to understand' on-line videos, weekly review sessions, practice exams and a difinitons app with over 450 definitions - all designed to save you time, make studying easier and make sure you pass the exam - the first time.

About Barbara
Barbara McNicholls, RI(BC) - Real Estate Pre-Licensing Instructor
Barbara has had an exciting and rewarding career in real estate for over 35 years. Starting out as one of the youngest salespeople for a national real estate company in Vancouver, BC (at the age of 19) she achieved several performance awards and consistently ranked in the top 10% – 20% of the company.
Subsequently, after offering free mini-sessions to help other new salespeople get a head start in real estate, she was offered a position as Director of Pre-Licensing and Sales Training at the company’s training centre in Vancouver, where she used her knowledge and experience to help several hundred salespeople get started in their real estate career.
After moving to Vancouver Island in 1990 Barbara started her own company as an independent real estate instructor, where she has helped thousands of people from all over Vancouver Island pass the real estate exam.
With an educational background in Urban Land Economics where Barbara earned her RI(BC) designation, as well as her Broker (Agents) licence, she has worked in and gained experience in various aspects of the industry, including:
